Doris Bloodsworth and Connie Fleetwood are sisters who were born in Huntington, West Virginia. They and their younger sister, Susan Pegram, and parents, Everett and Doris Woolum, moved to south Lake County in 1959.

Doris and Connie share many memories and interests. They are proud mothers and enjoy spending time with family and also enjoy reading and history. They helped co-found the Groveland Historical Society and Museum in 2007.

Doris is an award-winning writer, researcher and media relations expert at Thompson Wesley Wolfe in Orlando. She also is president of Crosswords Communications in Clermont, offering freelance writing and editing services. Doeis is the author of Images of America: Clermont, Images of America: Groveland and Katie & the Corduroy Kangaroo. She is a contributor to Songwriter's Handbook. She and her husband live in Clermont. They have a son and daughter.
   
Connie is the Extended Learning Center site coordinator at Groveland Elementary School. She is the former mayor of Groveland. She is the former senior site coordinator of the Extended Learning Centers for Lake County Public Schools. She is the former president of Friends of Marion Baysinger Memorial Library and was named the Methodist Woman of the Year at Edge Memorial United Methodist Church. She and her husband Jerry live in Groveland. They have a daughter, son and two grandchildren.
