Doris Bloodsworth is a Pulitzer-nominated writer and award-winning journalist. She currently helps cover Florida's federal courts for Bloomberg News and formerly worked at The Wall Street Journal and Orlando Sentinel.  Her freelance writing has appeared in numerous publications, including Florida magazine and is scheduled to appear in the 2010 edition of Songwriter's Market from the publishers of Writer's Market.

Bloodsworth is an author whose recent book, Images of America: GROVELAND earned critical praise. She is currently working on Images of America: CLERMONT for Arcadia Publishing. She has edited several fiction and nonfiction books, including ones that won regional and national literary awards.

A member of the Florida Writers Association, Bloodsworth graduated with highest honors from the University of Florida's College of Journalism witha minor in creative writing.
