
Doris Bloodsworth is a Pulitzer-nominated writer and award-winning journalist. She currently covers Florida's federal courts for Bloomberg News and formerly worked at The Wall Street Journal and Orlando Sentinel. Her freelance writing has appeared in numerous publications, including Florida magazine and the 2010 edition of Songwriter's Market from the publishers of Writer's Market.
Bloodsworth is an author whose recent book, Images of America: GROVELAND earned critical praise. Her second book with Arcadia Publishing, Images of America: CLERMONT, is scheduled for release September 2010. She has edited several fiction and nonfiction books, including ones that won regional and national literary awards.
A member of the Florida Writers Association, Bloodsworth graduated with highest honors from the University of Florida's College of Journalism with a minor in creative writing.
